End grain construction places the wood fibers vertically beneath the knife, creating a resilient, knife-friendly surface designed for years of preparation. The light, clean character of hard maple gives the board a timeless presence that works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary kitchens.
Each board is individually crafted, carefully assembled, sanded, and finished by hand in my Hudson Valley workshop. No stains or artificial finishes are used. The natural color and character of the maple remains the focus under a food safe oil finish.
Available in four sizes, from a compact Prep board to a substantial Pro block, each is made to order and built with the same attention to detail.
